Remembrance Page

These dogs although we have lost will always remember.

Molly....
Our sweet little girl. We rehomed Molly when she was seven years old. When she arrived at our house I didn't think she would last as she was just too quiet but day by day and month by month, Molly grew into a confident happy dog. Although Molly never swam she did enjoy laying in the water and watching the other dogs working. I think she often wondered why would they do that?! Molly took part in events and enjoyed the cuddles and treats at Elveden each Christmas. She was a real character and a dog that stole everyone's heart. Molly enjoyed being the old lady in EAWN and the privileges that came with it, including sharing lunch with members. Molly went on to enjoy six years of happiness with our family but unfortunately in 2017, just after her 13th birthday she had trouble breathing and we had to let her go. We will have our memories forever and I will never turn an old dog that needed a new home away. Molly was proof that there is life in an old dog.

Buffy....
Soooo very cute at 18 months old when we collected her, everything a newfie should be - even if a little small!!!
She enjoyed swimming - boat jumps, hiddens, boat pulls, hand rescues & all done in her own gentle way...The 'Buffy way'!!
Andy made her a cart which she liked, carting at Christmas & in her later years enjoyed rides in a cart....
being pulled by her boys (Troy-boy & Monty) around Cromer carnival in 2010 was one of her best evenings (Thanks boys!!!)
She loved being in a crowd because she had her 'cuddle me look' & even the most nervous children or parents wanted to stroke her.... Aaaaah!!!
BUT, her most favourite thing in the world was FOOD!!! didn't matter what, she loved eating - she did even steel an ice cream out of a childs hand - she was soooo gentle though!! NOT a bad bone in her body!!!
Buffy was a little wibbly-wobbly on her back legs but she was still eating & drinking ok. Feb 28th 2011 we celebrated her 12 birthday, who could believe our lil' Buffy was 12.....WOW!!! she had survived 'bloat' a few years before & had to have her spleen removed & stomach stitched to her side wall - small but tuff!!!
Wed 25th May 2011 - Buffy had her tea as usual - bedtime came & we offered her a gravey bone & she wouldn't eat it!! we kissed her 'Good-night' & i think we knew....... Our beautiful Lil' Buffy didn't wake up....
In the morning Troy-Boy was laying with her & some how her paw was on him.....
We miss Lil' Buffy so much it hurts.....

Thank-You for being our perfect Lil' Newfie!!!! & for sendng us Holly......
